One generator for Google Merchant Center and Facebook Ads

XML product feed generator for Google Merchant Center and Facebook Ads

The Google Merchant Center and Facebook Ads generator is one of the formats available in PriceWars II. It lets you prepare XML files containing your store catalog for use in Google and Facebook product catalogs and advertising campaigns.

From one place, you can provide information about products, prices, availability, variants, product identifiers, categories and delivery. You do not have to prepare separate data manually for each channel.

The generator operates as part of PriceWars II and uses its shared export configuration and management system.

What do you receive?

  • Create multiple XML files
    You can prepare separate feeds for different advertising accounts, languages, currencies, stores or selected parts of your catalog.
  • A preconfigured generator
    Default settings help you get started more quickly, while the available options let you adapt the export to the needs of your store.
  • Control over exported content
    You decide which categories, products and data should be included in each feed.
  • Automated data preparation
    After saving the configuration, the generator can update files without requiring you to create each export manually.
  • Support for product variants
    Each attribute combination can be exported as a separate item in the feed.

Create multiple independent XML feeds

Multiple independent XML feeds for accounts, languages, currencies and products

One store does not have to mean one XML file. You can create multiple generators and configure each of them independently.

Separate feeds can be prepared for different advertising accounts, countries, languages, currencies or selected product groups.

This means you do not have to divide your catalog manually or modify one file before sending it to another channel.

Automate export updates

Automated XML product feed updates

After configuring the generator, you do not have to prepare the feed from the beginning each time. PriceWars II organizes the product export process and reduces the amount of manual work required.

The updated file can include current store information such as prices, availability, descriptions and data assigned to individual variants.

Control which products are included in the feed

Filtering products exported to Google and Facebook feeds

Not every part of your catalog has to be sent to Google Merchant Center or Facebook Ads. The generator lets you limit the contents of each file according to the rules used by your store.

You can select exported categories and exclude products that are:

  • inactive;
  • missing a manufacturer code;
  • missing an EAN13 code;
  • used or refurbished;
  • without a required promotion or minimum discount;
  • without an assigned manufacturer;
  • below or above a specified price;
  • not meeting the defined inventory conditions.

This allows only the appropriate part of your catalog to be sent to a selected channel, without manually preparing a separate product file.

Select or exclude individual products

In addition to automatic rules, you can indicate individual products that should be included in or excluded from an export.

Individual products can be excluded with the free PriceWars Blacklist module. This gives you control over exceptions that cannot be handled through categories, prices or other filtering rules.

Map store categories to Google product categories

Mapping store categories to Google product categories

The category structure used in your store does not have to match the structure required by Google. The generator lets you assign store categories to the appropriate Google product categories.

Category mapping allows you to provide organized information without changing the entire PrestaShop category structure solely for export purposes.

Export variants as separate products

Exporting color and size combinations as separate products

Each attribute combination can be exported as a separate item in the XML file. This makes it possible to distinguish product variants such as color, size or any other attribute used in your store.

Individual variants can provide their own prices, product identifiers, availability and other assigned information.

As a result, the external catalog receives more precise data than when all combinations are presented as one product.

Adapt product names to channel requirements

Creating product names from manufacturer, color, size and product features

The product name used in your store may not contain all the information needed in an advertising catalog. The generator lets you decide how product names are saved in the XML file.

You can:

  • export the standard product name;
  • add selected attributes or features to the name;
  • create your own product name template;
  • use the manufacturer, color, size, capacity or another product feature in the template;
  • apply transformation rules to selected parts of the product name.

The changes apply only to feed data, so you do not have to manually modify the names displayed on product pages in your store.

Create descriptions from product data

Creating product descriptions from features and attributes

The generator can export standard descriptions from your store or prepare content using your own description template.

When a product does not have a ready description, the content can be created from its features and attributes. This allows you to use information already available in the catalog without manually completing every product description.

Organized and complete data provides the technical foundation for presenting products in Google Merchant Center and Facebook Ads. Campaign results also depend on the quality of your offer, advertising configuration and budget.

Provide complete product data

Product identifiers, prices, availability, delivery and categories in a product feed

Depending on the configuration, the XML file can contain the information needed to identify and present products in external channels.

  • Product identifiers
    EAN13, ISBN, UPC/JAN and manufacturer code.
  • Names and descriptions
    Standard store data or content prepared using custom templates.
  • Product prices
    The option to provide net or gross prices, depending on the generator configuration.
  • Availability and inventory
    Options for controlling how product availability is provided.
  • Delivery costs
    Delivery information can be included to the extent supported by the selected format.
  • Categories
    Product category export with the option to map categories to Google product categories.
  • Product labels
    Additional labels help organize products used in advertising campaigns.

Control availability and delivery data

Product availability, inventory levels and delivery costs

The generator provides options for modifying how inventory information is sent. You can adapt data exported to an external catalog without changing the actual stock levels stored in your shop.

Delivery cost information can also be included in the feed when it is supported by the selected format and has been properly configured.

Support multiple languages, currencies and stores

The generator supports multiple languages, currencies and the PrestaShop Multistore environment. You can prepare separate XML files for different store versions, markets or advertising accounts.

Each generator can have its own configuration, giving you control over which products and data are sent to each channel.

Extend the XML file structure

Formatting data and adding custom elements to an XML file

Advanced options let you format selected data and prepare custom product name and description templates.

You can also add new tags to the XML file. This lets you extend the export structure with additional information required by your process or by a supported channel.

The generator is part of PriceWars II

The Google Merchant Center and Facebook Ads generator is not a separate, independent module. It is one of the formats available as part of PriceWars II.

When you own or purchase a PriceWars II Light or PriceWars II Advanced license, you receive access to this generator with the functionality provided by the selected license version.

A comparison of the Advanced and Light versions is available on the main PriceWars II module page.
